Resortium’s team consist of procurement specialists & project managers, including partner access to interior designers and architects allowing us to create themed and design-led furniture packages, specifically and aesthetically considered for your target environment.
Linda Robertson
Managing Director
Linda’s background is project management, design and hospitality.
She worked in London for many years before moving to Asia; her time in Phuket, Thailand, as General Manager of a boutique resort, consolidated her interest in Asian furniture and the application of its timeless use in modern interior design. Linda has led design and fit-out projects of luxury homes, apartments and international resorts in Australia and Asia.
Bruce Rylance
Management & Procurement - Australia
Bruce has extensive experience in the commercial project management and procurement industry.
His 35-year career spans international hotels and resorts, retail shopping centres and casinos. His projects include the complete interior fit-out of the Crown Casino in Melbourne, where he worked with over 1,000 suppliers worldwide. As Project Manager for Resortium, Bruce has access to major suppliers, particularly in Australia and SE Asia.
Roy Robertson
Director / Procurement - Asia
Roy spends a lot of time in Asia and oversees Resortium’s Asian activities.
With a background in management and industrial engineering, Roy has built an extensive network comprising Asia’s leading manufacturers over an expatriate career spanning 40 years. His local knowledge ensure that Resortium selects the most appropriate manufacturers for each project and achieves the most cost-effective solutions.
George Plastiras
Interior Designer
George is an Interior and Exterior Design Consultant who has worked in the industry for 20 years.
He specialises in design concepts, forecasting & colour. The Design / Manufacturing Industry source George to forecast future design trends for their upcoming ranges. George’s portfolio includes luxury apartment buildings, hotels, restaurants, cafes, night clubs, bars, retail, commercial offices and private residences.
Jurgen Schirmacher
Interior Designer
Jurgen is an Interior Designer. He has extensive experience in interior & architectural design, project management, documentation and FF&E procurement.
He has worked on projects all over the world, ranging from turn-key residential buildings and interiors, to hotel, casino and retail projects, having also designed and manufactured an extensive range of highly sought after upmarket furniture and lighting. Jurgen is a member of The Design Institute of Australia.
Mark Walsh
Architect
Mark is Resortium’s Consulting Architect.
Mark is a Director of Lightwave, an architectural practice with offices in New South Wales and Queensland, Australia, and a regional office in Bangkok, Thailand.
His client portfolio spans resorts, retail shopping centres, age care facilities, performing arts theatres, luxury apartments and homes, over a practice of 20 years.
