Linda Robertson’s background is interior design and hospitality. She worked in London for many years before moving to Asia; her time in Phuket, Thailand, as General Manager of a boutique hotel resort, consolidated her interest and love of Asian furniture and the application of its timeless use in modern interior design. Linda has lead design and fit-out projects in Australia and Asia which include luxury homes, apartments and
international resorts.
 
 
David Bagnall spent his early career in the insurance broking industry at Lloyds of London. He moved to Australia in 1976 and entered the world of telecommunications, ultimately forming a company to market telecommunications systems to the hotel and resort industry, which he did with great success over a career that spanned 30 years. David has recently joined Resortium Concepts as Director of the company’s sales and
marketing team.
 
 
Roy Robertson resides in Bangkok and oversees Resortium Concepts’ Asian activities. Roy’s background is management and industrial engineering. He has served as MD of major companies and has built numerous specialist factories throughout Asia. Roy’s extensive network and personal relationships with Asia’s leading manufacturers has been built over an expatriate career spanning 40 years. His presence in Asia is integral to Resortium’s rigourous quality control processes. In addition, his local knowledge and invaluable insights ensure that Resortium works with the most appropriate manufacturers for each project and achieves the most cost-effective solutions.
 
 
Bruce Rylance has extensive experience in the commercial project management and procurement industry. His 35–year career in this field spans international hotels and resorts, retail shopping centres and casinos. Among his many projects was the complete interior fit-out of the internationally renown Crown Casino in Melbourne, where he worked with over 1,000 suppliers worldwide. As the Contracts Manager for Resortium Concepts, Bruce has access to major suppliers in the international hospitality and furniture industry, particularly in Australia and SE Asia.
 
 
Lay Khuan-Choo resides in Malaysia and has held senior management positions in architecture and property development over the last 30 years. Projects include multi-residential developments, international hotels, restaurants, banks, commercial offices, luxury homes and apartments throughout Asia. Her architectural background and considerable experience with large scale projects, add significant value to Resortium’s operations.
 
 
Charles Prior is Resortium Concept’s Associate in Sydney. Charles has over 15 years in the design industry, specialising in interior architect design and graphic design. He has lectured and taught at one of Sydney’s leading design schools and is a member of the Design Institute of Australia. Charles is also the director of Baxter Creative, an interior design company which provides complete design services for both commercial and residential projects across Australia. Charles’ client portfolio spans hotels, restaurants, luxury apartments and homes, as well as, the Royal Australian Navy.
